South West Airfields
Heritage Trust
(Registered Charity No: 1103588)

To commemorate the 65th anniversary of D-Day the South West Airfield Heritage Trust is staging a weekend of events on the airfield from which the 101st Airborne Division (The Band of Brothers) flew from, launching the D-Day mission to liberate Europe on the 6th June 1944. This historically important airfield will come to life again with two days of classic car shows, car boot sale, trade and local produce stalls, visiting aircraft historic and modern, military vehicles, Re-enactment groups and many many other exhibits.

There should be something for everyone whatever your age and interest at this fantastic location on the Blackdown Hills.

We are hosting Marie Curie Cancer Care for the classic car show and car boot sale. The trust is also donating 40% of the gate takings to MCCC.
