The Provisional Timetable for the VE/VJ Day +65 Event

Saturday August 21st 2010

 

10:00 am Gates open aircraft fly in and Static displays.

11:30 am Spitfire and C/47 expected arrival followed by flying displays.

 1:00 pm   Flying ceases, aircraft park open to the public.

                  C/47 open for public inspection.                                                        

3:00 pm    Aircraft park closes

3:30 pm    Flying re-commences

5:00 pm    Event close.

 

Throughout the day various events will take part in the display areas

Sunday August 22nd 2010  

 

10:00 am   Gates open aircraft fly in and Static displays.                

11:00 am   C/47 open for public inspection.

12:00 pm   Aircraft park open to the public.

 2:30 pm    Aircraft park closes.

 3:00 pm    Parade of the Royal British Legion Standards

 3:30 pm    Flying re-commences

                     C/47 Farewell

   5:00pm    Event close.

 

Throughout the day various events will take part in the display areas

 

The organisers reserve the right to change the order of events.

All flying is dependant on weather  conditions.
